clockwork

clockwork

I wish I could see the
inner workings of your
mind

you claim to have misplaced me
behind gears and screws
that pop off at the ends, loudly-
that swindle counterwise, widely
but I know it's all in the timing

of when you decide to
remember or forget

and I haven't forgotten you yet
because you see, to remember
is to forgive

the trick is in forgetting

You know what, it suddenly seems to make a lot of sense.
Kinda' funny, but all of a sudden, Clockwork sounds like one of the best I have come across.
By the way, your location made me laugh so much that I even called my cousin to see it.

thanks guys...

no yeah...bitterbitter me, Midnight

Jojo, what it means...well to start with it's about a person who is in love with another, who is blowing them off...or something like that...

read my location...I know my answers really vague but I feel that peotry is for the reader to find a meaning in as well, so yeah...my coherency is leaving me...but thanks

cheers

It was a good poem but somehow I can't really emphasise with the feeling behind it at the moment. Maybe I should read it again when I feel more bitter.

I am not a great understander of poetry, but could you please tell me who or what you are talking about?

Despite everything, it's still you.
